Our Carbon Footprint: 10 Tons of CO2 Annually
We acknowledge that our operations contribute to global emissions, and we are committed to measuring, understanding, and reducing our carbon footprint. Our estimated annual carbon footprint is 10 tons of CO2, which is carefully monitored and broken down into the following categories:
- Data Centers: Our reliance on advanced computing power to drive financial technologies results in approximately 4 tons of CO2 emissions per year. We are actively working towards optimizing our servers and investing in greener cloud solutions to reduce this impact.
- Office Utilities: The energy used to power our offices—including lighting, heating, cooling, and electronic devices—contributes 2 tons of CO2 annually. To mitigate this, we have implemented energy-efficient practices, such as using LED lighting, motion-sensor switches, and optimizing HVAC systems for reduced energy consumption.
- Business Travel (Car & Airplane): While essential for maintaining global partnerships and market presence, our business travel accounts for 4 tons of CO2 emissions per year. To address this, we have adopted a hybrid working model, prioritized virtual meetings, and selected airlines and transportation providers with strong carbon reduction programs.
